Who We Are:
Drury University Prevention Coalition is a network of campus and community partners who utilize Drury University specific data to guide prevention initiatives. These initiatives encourage positive choices among students and reduce the impact of high-risk behavior associated with alcohol, drugs, sexual relationships, and more. We collaborate closely with Panthers for Prevention (P4P), Partners in Prevention (PIP), Higher Education Committee, and the +20 universities involved with these organizations as well.
Our Mission:
Our college prevention coalition is dedicated to fostering a safe, healthy, and inclusive campus environment by proactively addressing issues related to substance abuse, mental health, sexual violence, and other risk factors. Through collaborative efforts with students, faculty, staff, and community partners, we strive to empower individuals to make informed decisions, cultivate resilience, and promote behaviors that support overall well-being. By advocating, implementing evidence-based prevention strategies, offering educational resources, and fostering a culture of support and accountability, we aim to create a campus community where every individual can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Who We Are:
Panthers for Prevention(P4P) is a peer education organization. We host fun and engaging events throughout the school year to provide students with information about health-related issues that are important to them. We focus on several key concerns, including safe relationships, safe alcohol use, and mental health, but our specific emphases can change as our campus’s needs change. Because of the importance of our mission to Drury’s campus, we have a lot of leadership opportunities for our members.
