Courses offered:
3 credit hours
Prerequisite: SPAN 306. A study of contemporary Spanish culture including such subjects as health care, politics, economics, foreign policy, education and the arts. Particularly recommended for students planning to study in Spain.
3 credit hours
Prerequisite: SPAN 101
Intensive study of Spanish at the elementary level, undertaken as part of a Drury-sponsored travel experience in a Spanish-speaking country. Students can fulfill the foreign language requirement by passing SPAN 101 and this course.
3 credit hours
Prerequisite: SPAN 101, SPAN 102. Intensive study of Spanish at the intermediate level or above, undertaken as part of a Drury- sponsored travel experience in a Spanish-speaking country.
Program Dates: May 30 – June 30, 2025

Includes: Estudio Sampere language classes and materials, entrance fees for class related culture activities, home stay with full board, transport to and from airport, trips to Toledo, Segovia, and Barcelona, health insurance, administration fees and faculty expenses.

Includes: airfare, transportation in Madrid, sightseeing entrance fees, non-program meals, souvenirs, gifts, entertainment, passport fees, etc.
Program Fee Only Payment Deadlines:
December 2, 2024: a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $1,500 must be paid to Drury University by this date.
January 15, 2025: a non-refundable/non-transferable payment of $1,500 is due.
February 15, 2025: a non-refundable/non-transferable final payment of $1,660 is due.

Pay by credit card online using the link on the Drury Study-Abroad website describing the London/Paris summer 2025 trip. A 2.85% fee will be added to credit card payments.
For check payments: check made out to Drury University (please add “Spain, Summer 2025” on memo line) and pay in the Business office in Burnham 100.
Enrollment in the program is limited and is based on good academic standing with the Dean of Students and the Provost’s office.
