Prerequisite: SPAN 306. A study of contemporary Spanish culture including such subjects as health care, politics, economics, foreign policy, education and the arts. Particularly recommended for students planning to study in Spain.

Prerequisite: SPAN 101
Intensive study of Spanish at the elementary level, undertaken as part of a Drury-sponsored travel experience in a Spanish-speaking country. Students can fulfill the foreign language requirement by passing SPAN 101 and this course.
3 credit hours
Prerequisite: SPAN 101, SPAN 102. Intensive study of Spanish at the intermediate level or above, undertaken as part of a Drury- sponsored travel experience in a Spanish-speaking country.

Program Fee Only Payment Deadlines:
December 1, 2025: a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $1,250 must be paid to Drury University by this date.
January 23, 2026: a non-refundable/non-transferable payment of $1,250 is due.
February 16, 2026: a non-refundable/non-transferable final payment of $810 is due.
Pay by credit card online using the link on the Drury Study-Abroad website describing the Spain summer 2026 trip. A 2.85% fee will be added to credit card payments.
For check payments: make check out to Drury University (please add “Spain, Summer 2026” on memo line) and pay in the Business office in Burnham 100.
Enrollment in the program is limited and is based on good academic standing with the Dean of Students and the Provost’s office.
