Prerequisite: Admission to Breech School of Business and approved application.
Study Abroad Office must be notified and all policies must be followed including but not limited to insurance requirements. This course meets the Breech study abroad requirement. Study abroad trips that fill in the business/leadership category must have stay of at least 7 days. This program would not necessarily require formal enrollment in a University; it would, however, require affiliation with a formal agency/organization or some form of University sponsorship. Students may not complete this program on an individual basis. In this type of study abroad program, students will focus on an intensive immersive experience and will be interacting almost exclusively with a variety of host country residents while engaged in a community service project. Application and prior approval is required. Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading.
Program Dates: May 17 – May 24, 2025
Estimated Program fee: $2,206
Includes: RT airfare, accommodation, all breakfasts, museum entrance fees, activity fees, guided tours, health insurance, administration fees and faculty expenses.
Estimated Tuition and Fees: $0
Estimated Personal Expenses: $500
Includes: non-program meals, additional transportation, souvenirs, gifts, entertainment, passport fees, etc.
Program Fee Only Payment Deadlines:
October 15, 2024: a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $250 must be paid to Drury University by this date.
November 30, 2024: a non-refundable/non-transferable payment of $750 is due.
March 1, 2025: a non-refundable/non-transferable final payment of $1,206 is due.
Pay by credit card online using the link on the Drury Study-Abroad website describing the Puerto Rico summer 2025 trip. A 2.85% fee will be added to credit card payments.
For check payments: check made out to Drury University (please add “Puerto Rico, Summer 2025” on memo line) and pay in the Business office in Burnham 100.
Enrollment in the program is limited and is based on good academic standing with the Dean of Students and the Provost’s office.
