When choosing a college for your undergraduate experience, it is important to consider all the possibilities ahead of you. The Drury University pre-health program offers a wide variety of tracks for entering students. We studied the admission requirements of the top schools in the Midwest region to create a curriculum that faculty members and students alike can trust.
There are a few core classes shared by all the tracks, and they then branch out to include a wide variety of courses that embody all academic disciplines. Each student also is given the freedom to explore other areas of interest during their studies. The liberal arts atmosphere at Drury ensures students are well-rounded, and electives built into each track enable the pursuit of individual interests.

These programs allow students to gain early acceptance to Missouri medical schools. In addition, these scholars programs either eliminate or reduce the importance of a high MCAT score as a factor for selection.
We celebrate the accomplishment of six students who were accepted into medical schools through our early acceptance program!
The Pre-Health Committee is a committee led by the Pre-Health Director consisting of natural science professors, non-natural science professors, and active physicians. This committee will provide students with a Committee Letter replacing all necessary faculty Letters of Reference. Also, this committee will give the students a practice interview that will include immediate and valuable feedback.
All students looking to apply to an Early Acceptance Scholar’s Program must use this committee. Also, any student that wants the Committee Letter or interview practice with feedback may use it too.
