Dr. Leinaweaver teaches courses on environmental politics (U.S. and global), international organizations / law and political violence.
Dr. Leinaweaver’s research focuses primarily on the use of policy to solve environmental problems at both the domestic and international levels. While the policy rules created at each level differ dramatically in form and function, the dynamics that produce those rules share many similarities and are clearly linked. His other research interests include quantitative methods, survey design and experimental methods.
