Drury recognizes outstanding second-year students as Warren White Scholars


SPRINGFIELD, Mo., August 31, 2019 — Drury University recently recognized outstanding second-year students as Judge Warren White Scholars at its 2020 Opening Convocation. The ceremony officially began Drury’s 147th academic year with an address from President Dr. Tim Cloyd.

The Judge Warren White Scholars are students who held the highest grade-point averages after completion of their first year at Drury. Each honoree receives a $215 scholarship. Warren White graduated from Drury in 1904 and served as a Greene County circuit court judge for 36 years.

The 2020 Judge Warren White Scholars are:

  • Catherine Henson – Clever, Missouri
  • Allison Hopper – Chestnutridge, Missouri
  • Sydney Horton – Kansas City, Missouri

  • Samantha Lohman – St. Louis, Missouri
  • Ashley McCulloch – Ozark, Missouri
