Drury University wins CASE award for fundraising excellence

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., June 18, 2020 — Drury University has been honored for fundraising efforts over a three-year period by CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

CASE announced the winners of the Educational Fundraising Award for Overall Improvement today. The awards annually recognize exemplary development programs based on a blind review of data submitted to the CASE Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) survey. Drury was recognized for efforts in the 2017, 2018 and 2019 fiscal years. These years saw significant increases in both dollars raised and donor participation.

Winners are not selected based solely on total funds raised. Experienced fundraisers review hundreds of pages of data from the VSE Survey and consider a number of factors and variables, including: patterns of growth in total support, overall breadth of fundraising, and alumni participation.

“The Drury family has truly come together to support the launch of the Your Drury Fusion academic program, scholarships and financial aid, hands-on learning experiences, and the campus master plan – including the upcoming Enterprise Center, our first new academic building in nearly 20 years,” says Drury President Dr. Tim Cloyd.
