“Accreditation assures our prospective students, families, employers and other stakeholders that Drury University offers a high-quality educational experience that prepares graduates for the world and the workforce,” says Drury president Dr. Tim Cloyd.
The Higher Learning Commission is an independent corporation founded in 1895 as one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. HLC accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the 19-state North Central region. Drury University has been accredited for more than a century, since 1915.

“These strengths have allowed Drury University to meet the HLC’s criteria for accreditation and have laid a tremendous foundation for an exciting future as the university approaches its sesquicentennial in 2023,” says provost Dr. Beth Harville.
