SPRINGFIELD, Mo., January 22, 2020 — Drury University has been named one of the 30 best liberal arts colleges in the Midwest by Great Value Colleges. The list places Drury alongside the best such schools in 12 states, including Washington University in St. Louis, Carleton College, Oberlin College and Grinnell College.
Great Value Colleges’ editors examined every liberal arts college in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma and South Dakota. Editors then narrowed down the list to 30 by focusing on schools with high marks in the following areas:

Drury is a Top 20 Midwest Regional University in the 2020 U.S. News rankings, where it was also cited as a best value. Drury is among The Princeton Review’s “Best 385 Colleges” this year, and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance named it as one of America’s “400 Best College Values.”
