The Meador Center for the Study of Politics and Citizenship will award annual scholarships to students for study abroad/study away opportunities. A minimum of two scholarships per year will be granted. Each scholarship will be in the amount of between $1,000 and $2,000, and will be used to support study away (such as internships in Jefferson City or Washington, DC) or study abroad, and will generally be used to pay all or part of the administrative fee, thus reducing the overall cost to the student.
The scholarships will be awarded on both merit and need and will be competitive. Interested students should apply for the scholarships in the Spring Semester for use the following AY. Interested students must submit a formal letter of interest, an application, a transcript, a letter of need, and letters of recommendation.
