Summit Park Themed Living Communities offer upperclassmen the chance to live with other students who share a common academic goal or interest. This is a great way for students to build community and share in a common purpose. These are academic interest-based groups and are not connected to an academic class.
Selection for Summit Park Themed Living Communities will be by a separate application. Each theme will house two units of 4. Groups of four will take preference, but individuals may apply. Applications and housing contracts are due by February 11, 2024. Selections for Summit Park will be announced Wednesday, February 16, 2024.
Students reside in apartment buildings located at the corner of N. Summit Ave. and E. Calhoun St. Dedicated parking for these units is located directly behind the complex. The units include all major appliances including refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, and free in-unit washer and dryer.
This is the lowest priced apartment option. Learn more about the amenities and pricing on the Housing website.
Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours in both the fall and spring semesters, have a cumulative GPA of 2.75, and in good academic/conduct standing with the University. Applicants must have graduated from high school at least a year prior to the fall semester to live in Summit Park.
Themes will be academic interest based. This will allow for enhanced community, common interests and goals and convenience for study groups. TLCs do not have a common class association though residents may share many of the same classes. If you are pursuing a career in one of the following academic areas we encourage you to apply!
