Pre-Nursing Certificate

The certificate in Pre-Nursing provides prerequisite and general education coursework to prepare students for entry into nursing programs. This program is offered at our Monett and St. Robert Drury GO locations only.

The Pre-Nursing Certificate requires a minimum of 32 credit hours of coursework.

Pre-Nursing Certificate – 32-33 Credits
Can be pursued during or after an associate

  • Prepare for entry into nursing programs
  • Complete courses in Microbiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, English, Pathophysiology, Intermediate Algebra, and Psychology and Sociology

Careers

  • After completing the stand-alone pre-nursing certificate, apply for practical or registered nursing programs to pursue a career in Nursing. A nursing career nationwide is expected to grow by 9% between 2020 and 2030.
