*Students who graduated from a non-public high school must provide documentation that the school is accredited by the Department of Education from that state. Students who graduated from a non-accredited high school, or on-line high school, must submit a HiSet or GED certificate. For HiSET testing information, go to https://dese.mo.gov/college-career-readiness/high-school-equivalency.
To be officially admitted to Drury, you must submit a Drury GO application for admission. If you have a high school diploma, please contact your high school as soon as possible and request a transcript to be sent directly to me. If you have a GED or HiSET, test scores must be submitted in place of high school transcripts. Students who have attended other colleges or universities must also submit official transcripts. To receive an official transcript, students must be in good standing with the issuing institution and not have a balance due. Students unable to obtain official transcripts cannot be admitted to Drury University or the Law Enforcement Academy. If you have already submitted a Drury GO application for admission or transcripts, you do not need to resubmit them. Students applying for veterans’ benefits must complete a Veterans Certification Request form.
Everyone attending the academy must submit their fingerprints for a background check. Instructions on how and where to be fingerprinted (apx. cost of $50.00) are included in the application packet distributed at the Academy Application Information Session. Students with any criminal or moral arrests/convictions are subject to review by the academy director, who may deny entrance based upon the arrest or conviction. A random drug test will be conducted at least once during the academy. A positive illegal drug test result will result in termination from the program.
