The Bachelor of General Studies provides an alternative to conventional degree programs and majors. The degree program is designed specifically for:

  • People who want to broaden their specialized backgrounds to include a liberal arts education.
  • People who want to develop an interdisciplinary program tailored to their individual needs and interests.


Program Outcomes

  • PLO1:  Demonstrate knowledge of discipline specific content.
  • PLO2: Demonstrate effective and collaborative written and oral communication skills.
  • PLO3: Demonstrate broad knowledge of a wider world and problem solve through multi-disciplinary perspectives.

The Bachelor of General Studies requires 45 credit hours of coursework.
