For current students or alumni interested in applying for the Fulbright Award sometime in the future, please consider registering for a session with the Fulbright organization itself to learn more.

Drury students will meet with Fulbright advisers virtually, alongside other students across the United States, and afterwards head into a Drury breakout session. Each year the Fulbright program opens in March and closes in October; during that time around 8,500 students compete for 1200 opportunities to have full rides to graduate programs in the UK/Finland, develop research projects, or assist in teaching around the globe. The ETA, or English Teaching Assistant program, is Drury’s signature program and in 2023 students applied to countries as far away as Estonia and the Slovak Republic. Applying for a Fulbright is a significant professional effort and one to aspire too. There is no GPA for Fulbright but you must have a passion for the globe, a curiosity, and interest in mutual dialogue and culture. Students interested in applying through Drury for the Fulbright in the next few years should reach out to Dr. Shelley Wolbrink, swolbrin@drury.edu and attend this session. This session is made possible by a special grant to spur small regional schools to build Fulbright programs. Midwest is wanted folks!

Please come to find out more. At the end, Drury students will have a breakout session. Again, this is for any year student.
