This course addresses the unique assessment concerns surrounding gifted education in both identification and instruction. Topics include state policy, twice- exceptional students, and testing bias. Material incorporates the principles of screening and identification for programming, theory and instrumentation on a variety of constructs traditionally associated with giftedness, and measurement theory.
