PAS 705: Family Medicine Supervised Clinical Practice Experience

Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the didactic phase of the PA program.

The five-week family medicine supervised clinical practice experience is designed to give students the opportunity to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients from birth through geriatrics in an outpatient clinical setting. Students will have the opportunity to perform preventative screening examinations, perform problem-focused examinations, and develop and implement care management plans for common acute and chronic medical and behavioral health conditions.
