Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the didactic phase of the PA program.
The five-week behavioral and mental health supervised clinical practice experience is designed to give students the opportunity to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with psychiatric concerns in outpatient and/or inpatient clinical settings. Students will perform psychiatric interviews, develop working diagnoses, and implement care management plans pertaining to patients behavioral and mental health care.
