Tickets and Arrival

Tickets are not required for admission to commencement.

In December and May, doors will open for guests one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.


Accessibility

Commencement is a time for family and friends to celebrate the achievements of our graduates. If you have a physical impairment, please ask a commencement host for information on wheelchair-accessible or assisted seating.

If you have a hearing impairment, please contact the Office of the Registrar no later than three weeks prior to the ceremony.


Parking

Drury Lane (north of Central Street) and Burnham Circle will be a pedestrian only zone. Otherwise, parking is unrestricted on campus except where marked.

Parking at O’Reilly Family Event Center

The nearest parking lots are located at the following:

  • Lot 7 (on Summit Street, north of Central Street to the right)
  • Lot 4 (on Summit Street, north of Central Street to the left)

Note: Handicap parking will be available in Lot 12 and spaces along Summit Street by O’Reilly Family Event Center (OFEC). There will be a drop off lane in the Loading Zone on Summit Street by OFEC.

Parking at Stone Chapel (May baccalaureate ceremony only) 

The nearest parking lots are located at the following:

  • Lot 2 (behind the Shewmaker Communication Center at the southwest corner of Drury Lane and Central Street)
  • Along Benton Avenue, west of Stone Chapel

Note: Handicap parking is available in the small parking area located behind Stone Chapel and Bay Hall.
