Dr. Wesley H. Rowley III came to Drury University in 1989. He received his Ph.D. from the department of anatomy and cell biology in the School of Medicine at East Carolina University in 1987 and completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. Since arriving at Drury, he has taught a variety of courses including: Human Anatomy, Comparative Anatomy, Vertebrate Embryology, Histology, and Neurobiology. Since 1991, Dr. Rowley has been studying the development of Xenopus laevis embryos under different environmental conditions.
