Complete an Admission Pathway

Choose 1 of the following 2 Admission Pathway options:

Standardized Test Score(s):

Take either the ACT or SAT, then request the score(s) to be sent to Drury University. We superscore for admission & scholarship consideration, so it is in your best interest to send any/all scores. We will accept test scores for scholarship through December of the senior year. If your official high school transcript lists ACT or SAT test scores, we can use them for admission and scholarships.

Essay:

Choose to apply without test scores by sending an essay. Students do not have to submit their essay at the time they apply, you may send at a later time by uploading in your admission portal or emailing to druryad@drury.edu. The Admission Committee recommends essays be 250-500 words. We have three options available for you:

  • Prompt 1: What are three strategies you use to overcome procrastination and how do you motivate yourself to finish a difficult task?
  • Prompt 2: What are three examples of micro-failures you’ve experienced and how do these small failures shape your learning or approach for the next time?
  • Prompt 3: Pick a quote that describes a lot about you, and explain why you connect with it.

We also accept any of the Common Application first-year essay prompts. Read more about the test optional pathway.

Acceptance is contingent on the submission of all final official transcripts.
