Executive Vice President of Enrollment Management

Kevin joined Drury University in 2016 after six years at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, where he served as the senior director of admissions. Prior to that he worked in the Office of Admission at Albion College and Hendrix College as the director of admission. Kevin has spent 25 of his 28 years in higher education in the admissions/enrollment world across five liberal arts colleges and universities.

Kevin’s experience in creating dynamic campus visit programs and leading strategic enrollment initiatives are but two examples of his ability to attract and retain bright students to Drury. With an undergraduate degree from Kenyon College in economics and sociology, a Master’s in education from Baldwin Wallace University, and Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Baker University, Kevin is a scholar and a practitioner of higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Works alongside the president and other members of the senior leadership team to optimize enrollment for Drury’s day school and to create strategic messaging to advance the mission of Drury.
  • Oversees the Admissions and Financial Aid Offices in Bay Hall along with the Marketing and Communications Offices. Coordinates both strategic and tactical efforts to advance the growth of the institution.

Since arriving on campus Kevin has:

  • Implemented multiple phases of a Strategic Enrollment Management plan, including new imperatives concerning financial aid leveraging and scholarship awards
  • Dramatically increased recruitment travel outside of Missouri while evaluating and testing new markets for future outreach
  • Created a new admitted student program, #DruryBound, which brought increased students to campus
  • Implemented the “Panther Growl” as a way of signaling students’ intent to enroll at Drury
