Dr. Tom Lynch retired after 41 years as a practicing dermatologist, served as Vice President of Sherwood Pharmaceutical Co., and was a former partner in Sunset Cove, a development near Branson. His community service has included Boy Scouts of America, Springfield Little Theatre Board, Lambda Chi Alpha, Make Today Count, Drug Control Crew Chief for the U.S. Olympic Committee, and the alumni board of University of Missouri Medical School. He was a board member for the AIDS Project of the Ozarks, and has been president of the Drury Alumni Council and Booster Club. During his years on the Drury Board of Trustees, his past/current Board committee involvement includes: Academic Affairs, Athletics, Board Organization, and Executive.
An elder at First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, Dr. Lynch and his wife, Saundra ’65 have two children, Thomas W. II ’92 and Heather, and daughter-in-law Natalie Agruso Lynch ’91.
Dr. Lynch was inducted into the Drury Sports Hall of Fame in 2018 and was awarded the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award for University Engagement.
