Bill Ricketts retired from full-time work in 2005. At the time he was President of EMCO Building Products, officed in Montreal, consulted part-time for the next 9 years and is now fully retired – spending his time on volunteer work & travel. In his earlier career, he served as Division Vice President North America of the Norton Company, an affiliate of St. Gobain Corporation in Paris, from 1992 to 1995. From 1990 to 1992, Bill was Vice President of Operations for Certainteed Corporation in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. From 1984 to 1990, he served as President of Lunday-Thagard Oil Company in Los Angeles.
Bill graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1961 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He received his MBA from the Breech School of Business Administration at Drury in 1971 and has attended the University of Michigan. He is a registered professional engineer in five states and is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineering and the Technical Association of Pulp & Paper Industry.
Bill and his wife, Camille ’65, are active in the Methodist church and numerous civic organizations in the communities in which they have lived. They have two daughters, Laurel and Elizabeth.
