Jan Baumgartner graduated from Drury in 1974 after earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Economics. She was active in the community serving on several local non-profit boards throughout her career. She is retired and continues to be involved in the community by serving on the CoxHealth Board, the Community Foundation of the Ozark’s Audit Committee and the First & Calvary Presbyterian Church Foundation Board. She is the managing partner for Storage Climate Controlled. In 2005 she was recognized by the Springfield Business Journal as one of the 20 Most Influential Women. She was in Class 2 of Leadership Springfield. While at Drury, she was a member of Pi Beta Phi, the Student Union Board and Student Ambassadors. Her deceased husband Gary received his MBA from Drury in 1974.
