The Yates Annual MBA Scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit, financial need and academic record. The scholarship of up to $2,500 will be split and applied equally to two semesters. To qualify for the scholarship, a student must have applied to Drury’s MBA program. To receive the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours each semester (fall and spring). Students must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and a GMAT score of at least 470. If an applicant has already taken Drury MBA courses, the GPA requirement is 3.3 in the completed work. All recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.3 in the Drury MBA program or forfeit the scholarship.
The donor for this scholarship is a Drury alum from Springfield who moved to St. Louis to pursue a career in business. There, he became a successful senior officer of a Fortune 100 company. He fondly remembers his time at Drury and would like to assist other deserving students to have a wonderful experience here as well. Scholarship recipients will be connected with the donor and encouraged to communicate with him.
